Whenever a pie from Marie's isn't enough
Friends, finger foods and flat-screen TVs. Also could one request? What about a fresh-brewed flavorful ale at half price?
The new BJ's Restaurant Brewhouse at the Montebello Town Center definitely has everything for happy hour,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. The brewhouse opened at the Town Center in October and already is well-liked by the locals,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Located between JCPenney and also the food court, BJ's now vies with Marie Callender's and Applebee's for customers. Now Marie Callender's has its own fresh pies, but following a long day at work on a Wednesday night, you might need greater than a slice of pie. to closing) Sunday through Thursday.

Appetizers range from the usual finger delights (chicken wings, chips and salsa) to twists on old favorites (avocado egg rolls). The mini deep-dish pizzas come with a selection of toppings; there's also specialty pizzas, like the barbecue and buffalo chicken. We ordered among each.
The Great Beginnings sampler was perfect, since it offered something for my vegetarian friend (artichoke dip,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], avocado egg rolls), but for the carnivores (chicken taquitos).
My favorite was the egg roll,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which oddly enough has no egg,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but lots of kick in the chipotle sauce inside. And the pizzas definitely satisfied despite their small size.
At the end of our evening, the happy hour check quit me with sufficient cash to pick up the cute shoes I was eyeing at JCPenney next door.
A note about the beer: The brewery offers seasonal brews. You can test Owen's IPA year-round, the Nit Wit or Belgian style beer in the summertime,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and the Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Ale in October and November.
A lot of BJ's brews have received numerous accolades locally and nationally. Special educational beer events are locked in various locations and free brewery tours are available by appointment.
