Welcome back to yet another exclusive WOLF REPORT. This time we bring you something very special. When the Nike Air Zoom WTK (What The Kobe) 7 released in low numbers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the LeBron fans wondered where was their share of the Goods? Being in Los Angeles,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I run into Croatian Style quite a bit. He seems to be everywhere I go these days. Even ran into him and some associates in Las Vegas in the Cosmopolitan Lobby a couple weeks ago. Working close with Dre I had a chance to set my eyes on these images,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], at that point there was only one thing to do. - THE WOLF REPORT - Now I bring you a detailed look at the Nike Air Zoom WTL (WHAT THE LeBRON) 9. Let's take a close look shall we?
Seeing as how this is a Holiday 2011 Sample and the inserts read 11/12, I can't say that i think these will ever be coming out. But where's the rest of them? How many pairs exsist? Do the people closest to the project own the only pairs? I guess we will have to wait it out and hope for the best from Nike Basketball. Recently Shoe Wolf attended MAGIC Las Vegas and caught up with some of next years collections. Seems that every year there some of Hype on a "Year Of The _____" sneaker release. As Complex On-Line first previewed from AGENDA, New Balance is no exception with a 574 Set that will have everyone excited. Nike came short of anything great for this passing seasons Year of the Dragon. With that said,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's safe to assume individual thinking has yet another reason to save the sheep of today's Sneaker Consumers. The images below are rumored to be a portion of the New Balance 2013 Spring Collection on display at MAGIC. It's looking like a Glow In The Dark sole bottoms out the multicolor release. Also down below are the New Balance 996 USA Collection in a variety of brillaiant colors. Undefeated Jordan IV? No that's just one of the Camo 574 Pack set to drop as well. Pictured are the Green and Blue colorways. Is that another Jeff Staple New Balance? Nah,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], whoever color blocked this pair must be a fan though! layt but not least, mixed in these great images is the New Balance 574 "Rainbow Pack" for 2013. Where to start.? JEFF STAPLE. Enough said right? Some of the most coveted Sneakers known to the World are Staple collaborations. The SB Dunk Low pictured above alone rocks entire collections into retirement. I ran into his companies booth at MAGIC/PROJECT/SLATE. Without a doubt,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], My MAGIC trip highlight. The set-up was one that i could really relate to. A full Pigeon Coop display with chicken wire breading boxes. The huge water tower Pigeon Logo was super cool to witness. See, I raised pigeons back in 94 down in the south bay. I used to love watching My Pigeons fly at a dot then roll several poles deep. That's pigeon talk!! Pigeon John,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], where you at? Birmingham Rollers were my Pigeon of choice. I wonder if Jeff is into Pigeons at this level? Might be a good question to fit in on an interview in the future. Below is a prime example of the beauty these birds can bring. Nobody I know loves these creatures more than the big homie Kool-Aid from 104th MAFIA CRIP. 4LIFE!! Let's get back to Jeff, his work, and PROJECT REED shall We?
It's not so much the sneaker silhouettes used as it is the simple harmony of his signiture combinations of Pigeon colors that make these pieces highly sought after. The little pigeon logos don't hurt either. But his sneaker collabs aren't the only thing brewing. A full clothing line is out there on shelves as I type this. I did not have an appointment to see Him, so I was limited to only what was out front as far as images I'm bringing you. A STAPLE X Beats By DRE head set has also popped up at many retailers carrying Staple's line of goodies. 20 pair were gifted at a party not too long ago with 500 sets spread out amongst the retail community. The Hyperfuse Nike iD is kinda cool with that clear specially designed HUPBOX. The colors came out great, especially those laces! I missed the New Balance by 5 minutes and a phone call. Damn You Freddy!! I saw this Nike Air Stab on display as well. Beasty!!
Mr. Stash Nike AF1's, Married To The MOB Nike Dunk Highs, and JS Wings X 2NE1 were among some of the dope sneakers on display for this installation. Please remember, I was only there covering the Sneaker aspect of this whole convention while in Vegas. There were many other amazing objects being shown here at Project REED. It's just something you have to experience in person to truly appreciate it all. Below the 2NE1 X JS WINGS we find the AMEN X Lotus Evora X Nike LunarGlide+ 3. Great concept!! 3M accents throughout the silhouette and a extra pair of Volt laces make this a great collaboration. Clean!! Now I know it's the "first week of September etc. etc. blah blah blah" and some of you are saying: "Hey MAGIC was like last month Wolf!". Aaaaah the joys of working for yourself and owning your own creative Blog. Never a rush on my end.
