With 400 dollars in his pocket,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he set out walking from Montreal to New York State. Then he continued on to Mexico and beyond. In the last ten-and-a-half years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he has covered 7,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],600 kilometres on 6 continents and worn through 49 pairs of shoes. His goal: to walk around the world.
B unusual journey has sparked plenty of interest from locals and the media. We aired clips from a documentary about his tour,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], called Des Ailes Aux Talon."
Now,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], while Jean B walked,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], his wife,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Luce Archambault,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], stayed behind. She runs a web site documenting her husband's walk. And the two meet up for just a few weeks a year. Today,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Jean B will put on a brand new pair of shoes as he embarks on the last leg of his journey leaving from Vancouver and heading for home to Montreal.
