British industrial production shows 1.5 percent drop
LONDON, Oct. 9 () -- Industrial production declined in Great Britain from August 2012 to August 2013,[url=http://www.govtvault.com/]gucci belt men[/url], the national data office said Wednesday.Production output dropped 1.5 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis with declines of 2 percent in manufacturing, 10.1 percent in mining and quarrying and 3.5 percent in electric, gas, steam and air conditioning, which is grouped into one category.Production of transportation equipment rose 12.5 percent over the 12-month period with solid gains in automobile production, the Office of National Statistics said.Manufacturing declines were posted by machinery and equipment producers not otherwise classified,[url=http://www.myeduhelp.com/]christian louboutin booties[/url], the makers of pharmaceutical products and basic metal and metal production.From July to August, total industrial production slid 1.1 percent with a 1.2 percent drop in manufacturing after two consecutive months of gains in the sector.
