Richard Pitino, Minnesota Golden Gophers agree on hoops coaching deal
MINNEAPOLIS, April 3 () -- Richard Pitino, son of Louisville Coach Rick Pitino, has reached an agreement in principal to take the same job with Minnesota, the school announced Wednesday.A statement released by University of Minnesota Athletics Director Norwood Teague indicated the school and Pitino have an understanding "on the key terms of an agreement," which he said would be finalized this week.
