Jaycee Dugard marks one year anniversary of release from kidnapping hell,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
It's been one year since Jaycee Dugard's dramatic release from 18 years of horrific, slave-like captivity at the hands of an alleged pedophile.
The 30-year-old mother of two children, both fathered by her alleged abductor Phillip Garrido, was meant to make a statement on the anniversary.
But the privacy-seeking Dugard changed her plans after an incident last week in which a photographer secretly took pictures of her two daughters,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Starlet,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], 16, and Angel, 11,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and sold them to a national media outlet.

Dugard marked the anniversary with a low-key camping trip with a friend and her two daughters in a peaceful location some 60 miles away from the ramshackle Antioch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], California location where she was held captive in a twisted, claustrophobic version of a backyard hell.
'She really appreciates the fresh air and open spaces,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as you would expect from someone who was held captive for so long,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],' a source told the New York Post.

Meanwhile her abductor Garrido, 59,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a registered sex offender, and his wife,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Nancy, 55,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], are in jail awaiting rape and and kidnapping charges. The two are accused of abducting Dugard in 1991 from a bus stop near her home in South Lake Tahoe, California, and keeping her in the tented and windowless shack compound.
During the extended captivity, Garrido fathered Dugard's two daughters, keeping all three in the wretched compound.
Dugard was dramatically reunited with her mother in August when police realized her identity after she accompanied Garrido to a meeting with his parole officer.
She lives in seclusion with her mother,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Terry Probyn, 51,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and her daughters and has not spoken publicly about her ordeal. In October,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], she released a picture to People magazine with a brief statement.
'I'm so happy to be back with my family,' she said.
This is not exactly true; she had the run of the house too, and worked for the guy. He had some printing business on the internet and she worked for him, TALKING to and EMAILING customers from the house. The customers even said she would meet them outside to give them their order. She could have left there years ago if she had wanted, all she had to do was tell one of the customers when she met them outside what was going on and to send the police. She didn't.
