It will likely be the most photographed moment in history: the moment Barack Obama takes the oath of office. CNN is teaming up with Microsoft Photosynth to create the most stunningly detailed image possible of this historical moment, but it won't be possible without your help as iReporters. Are you one of the millions attending the inauguration? We need your help to document this incredible moment in history. Here's what you do:
1. Take one photo of the moment when Obama takes the oath. If you have a digital camera with a zoom lens, take three photos (wideangle, midzoom, fullzoom).
2. Don't forget to include your name in the message if you'd like to appear in the list of the contributors. Please only send in photos you took yourself.
3.
We'll combine the images you send in from every angle with images from CNN's professional photographers to create what we hope will be a breathtaking, detailed experience. And don't forget to email in your inauguration photos, because it won't be possible without you!

It would be best if they synchronize the camera's time with their cell phone time. The future will experience these multiangle,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], omniperspective, time slices as a paragon of political democracy and technological concerto.
I also like the idea posited by "kmil": with people at home taking photos of the television and revelers around it. People who are unfortunate to not be able to attend the event live can upload their local images and become "photosynthedintime" with the event.

This tale that is one of 3 girls, a wife, an engineer, a family.
A family that for the last 3 years have struggled to remain a family. Struggled with the loss of jobs, a loss of trust in the government, and a loss of our dignity. We have had to suffer with the collapse of the housing market, and the loss of health care. yet we cary on. We have sold off our 401k's, our retirement accounts, our furnishings, our possessions just to stay in the game. And yet we see that there is still a "don't care" in Washington. Bailout the big banks, the auto industry, the investment companies. but for us, we have had to sell everything just to hang on to our house.
I have a job. a job that barely pays the bills. I have had the opportunity to see the third world and know that I have it better than most of the workers that make the products that we buy everyday. yet I struggle with the idea that 350 billion did not do what was promised. And now, another 350 billion has been released. Will my family become another statistic of the fallout of the outgoing failed policies that are in control,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or will there actually be the
"hope" that my wife and I VOTED for.
I had my children watch as you gave your speech in Delaware. I told them that this will be the man that will be "your" leader. The leader that will give us the change. are you going to let those children down and make my promise a "paper tiger" an empty promise of hope.
I believe in your message of the hard work, the "suit up and show up" every day. I believe in the realization of a "dream" that Dr. King spoke of. I believe that there will be a change. will that change be the promise fulfilled for my children. The promise that I told them is what you said you would do?

my daughter an I flew all the way from Oslo Norway to be here. we don't have any tix to any of the festivities, but just wanted to be in the city to experience this awesome historical event in person. I'm a ball of emotionspride as an american, but especially as an african american, elated, optimistic, yet realistic, and anxious/concerned for the safety of the president elect and his family. I cannot even begin to articulate what this inauguaration means for the country, and the world for that matter. I can't believe the interview CNN just had with Michelle Obama's former college roommate from the 1980's I think her name is Kathleen Donnelly that woman is just from a racists family. You shouldn't have waisted any air time on her. There is no excuse for her family's behavior toward Michelle Obama. I also was in college during the 80's, I also had a black roommate and lots of friends of different races. I can't imagine my parents behaving the way Donnelly and her family did. That woman is an opportunist. She was in college in the 1980's not the 1880's . there was and is no excuse to treat anyone the way she treatd Michelle Obama.
Hello.,. I am writing to let you know after watching our New President Obama give his Inaguration speach I am so upset. I am what our society likes to call a caucasion. I have green eyes and blonde hair, which we all know is now becoming the minority of the United States. I am proud to be an American and proud to be a Caucasion in America. However I see a man that is leading our Country that is not proud of his caucasion or OTHER background. It is all about his African American background. He is a Heinz 57 just like so many other people in our great country. I heard him prase his father. but what about his MOTHER?What about his background from his mothers side of the family? Does this not bare the importance of his mother? My final statement is that I had to walk away from the last part of his speach because of all the AFRICAN AMERICAN people they were showing. I could handle this better if he had spoke about ALL of his heritage, not just the African American side. It made me sick, makes me angry and makes me sad. His mark in History is NOT due to the fact that he is an AFRICAN AMERICAN. because he is NOT JUST AN AFRICAN AMERICAN!
