GPS Running Watches For Women,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
Personally, I have been running for about a year now. When I say running, I mean longer distance running. Growing up as a sports freak,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], with basketball being my favorite sport, the idea of long distance running was never very appealing. Actually,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], to more accurate,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I hated it. Before many runs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I chuckle thinking about it.
I live in a small city of about 100,000 people. The running trails are basically the sidewalk in whatever neighborhood you happen to live in. There is no real need to drive anywhere,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], since you will get the same scenery. I envy any of you who live in a nice warm part of the country with a multitude of running trails.
One of the great things about running is you can do it anywhere. You don't need running trails. You don't need perfect weather. All you need is a little desire and an ok pair of shoes. If you want to keep things simple, get a pair of shoes and get going.
Most of us humans don't keep things simple,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], do we? The longer you are a runner,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the more stuff you have to buy. We get not one pair of shoes, but three. We buy cold weather gear, warm weather gear and in between weather gear.
One thing I recommend any serious or even semi-serious runner get is a GPS watch. It makes long distance running way more fun, in my opinion. I purchased one about a year ago and just love it. It has the option of logging your runs into your computer for analysis so I can check my mileage, pace, heart rate,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], etc. for every run. I don't even know how many runs you can keep in your history,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], since every run for the past year is there.
Going back a few months and checking your performance is really cool. It usually gives you motivation If you keep up with your training,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you are bound to get faster. When you look back and see that your pace has increased by 30 seconds from where it was 2 months ago,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it gives you a great sense of accomplishment. If you don't get a GPS watch, make it a point to document your runs in a log of some sort.
The best thing about a GPS watch is, well,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the main feature…tracking where you go. You don't have to plan where you are going to run. Turn the watch on, hit start and go running. When you have traveled half the distance you want to go,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], just turn around. Backtrack the way you came and that's it. I love being able to do that. I end up in a different place every week.
If you are a runner, get yourself a GPS watch. There are models now that only cost about the price of a good pair of shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and the watch will last longer than 300 miles. Get one, you won't regret it.
