Fans wait in line for a week for release date of Kanye West sneakers
Kanye West fans across the United States and in several other countries lived on the street for a week for their chance to purchase the rapper's new sneakers this weekend at thousands of dollars above the retail price,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

Dariante Dubose told ABC News he was so eager to grab a size nine pair of the sneakers at a Detroit store that he convinced his mother to hold his spot for him so he could grab a shower. He was in line for five days.

West designed the shoes for people with similarly 'slim' feet to those of the musician himself as a second collaboration with the sporting brand.

The new design comes in various colours, such as the black and 'solar red' version that the musician wore during his performance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York last November.
No matter the colour, the design features handskived anacondatextured leather panels that have been stamped with the trademark Nike swoosh logo.
They also feature a molded spiked rear that is said to be 'reptilianinspired',[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The design was inspired by the basketball shoes of the late Eighties, much the same as the original limitededition Nike Air Yeezy, which was released and swiftly sold out in April 2009.
