Fans get look at jerseys
The All-Star Game, hosted by the Carolina Hurricanes, will be played Jan. 30 at the RBC Center in Raleigh. and then chosen for the two teams this year in a "Fantasy Draft" on Jan. 28. No longer is it the NHL's Eastern Conference versus the Western Conference - a change reflected by the Reebok jerseys.

Leach said the crest, numbers and stars on the uniforms are made of a lighter twill, all the better for the players.
Brian Jennings, executive vice president of marketing for the NHL,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], said sales of All-Star jerseys don't match those of the ultra-successful Winter Classic or Heritage Classic. But the new All-Star concept could boost sales, he said.
"You've got the ultimate fantasy draft and what's shaping up as an exciting All-Star weekend,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," he said. "The Winter and Heritage Classic have more of a vintage theme while the All-Star Game is more futuristic. The new uniforms have a futuristic design and look to them.
"Our events are getting bigger in scale. It's like having a 31st team in the NHL, and [sales] do quite well depending on the market."
