Tim wasn suggesting that the gunman was on the far-left. Rather, he was pointing out that Charles attempts to link this man to the right wing are pathetic. Charles has been flailing around for months now trying to link his critics to racism,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], violence and so forth as a cheap way to smear people. I guess he thinks it beats mounting a coherent argument.
The New York Times had a very interesting article about how Charles is becoming increasingly sensitive to criticism and about the lengths he goes to in removing access to his site for people linked in any way to his critics,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Its becoming increasingly obvious that Charles has a few roos loose in the top paddock; either that or he has developed an enormous thirst for internet drama. One of the things I love about Australia is the general attitude of over yourself we show to people like Charles.
Let see, here at Tim can say that anyone who claims to know that AGW is,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or is not,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], happening doesn know what they talking about. The data so ratty it resembles pre-piper Hamelin, and the computer models are worse than GIGO,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as they been to confirm what knows not a popular view,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and I don think Tim holds it. He thinks it 100% rubbish,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], rather than 75%as I do. But I allowed, even encouraged, to argue my case with facts and logic, with other commenters.
Not so at LGF any more. You either on his side, or a to be excoriated.
I still agree with Charles on so much,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], on the threat of Islamofascism, on the Theocratic nonsense that infested much of the Right. But he now ignores the anti-rationalist Moonbats on the Left.
Pity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. He getting worse not better,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
So if I *have* to choose sides - I here, even though I disagree with some of what said. Because Tim hasn closed his mind.
I cannot begin to understand what has happened at LGF. When I first started visiting blogs about five years ago it seemed as right-wing as they come (apart from the science/religion thing). I left-leaning (yeah,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they tolerate me here because I a Collingwood supporter they can poke fun at me) and Tim Andrew blogs were a way to read about what the side were thinking. I was looking over my shoulder whenever I clicked one of their links to LGF - the right-wingers right-winger.
Intolerance to different views is something heard across the blogosphere, censorship of opposing posts. But I don see this here [please let this one through Nkome Tran]. Whereas I been censored frequently on blogs (eg The Drum,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Crikey). Why is that?
Johnson,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], currently insisting that hatred of George W. Bush, support for 9/11 trutherism,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], opposition to anti-marijuana laws and registration as a Democrat are all indicators of ¦ right-wing extremism. Blair,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you a liar. Johnson never ever insisted that any of those qualities are indicators of right-wing extremism. And you know that he never insisted on that. Thus you deliberately falsifying the data. You a fabricator. Of what worth,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], then, are any of your musings?
What Johnson and other sane individuals point out is that _none_ of these indicators contradict the fact that the fellow _was_ an anti-govt libertarian Mises fan who ranted against socialism. Sorry, Mr. Blair,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but no matter how the liars spin it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he cannot be a lefty by definition - Mises followers are on the right.
Democratic registration? Pah. A formality that doesn indicate one views,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as this case proves - it does not and cannot beat the fellow clearly stated views.
9/11 Truther - it is an indicator of extremism all right,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], just either of left-wing or right-wing. So compatible with both. And since any 9/11 Truther is bound to be a Bush-hater for marijuana Ever heard of Bob Barr?
The guy had a long history of mental health problems and a cursory examination of his own words indicates that he was clinically insane. Insane people will glom on to various conspiracy theories etc as their mental collapse worsens.
What risible about pathetic moonbats like you and that worthless cretin Charles Johnson is that such mental midgets insist on assigning a POLITICAL rationale for an act carried out by an insane individual.
