WATFORD, England, Oct. 25 () -- British firm Smiths Detection and Canada's Optosecurity plan continued collaboration on development and distribution of security checkpoint software technology.The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding to further negotiations to reach a formal agreement on developing a new technology solution that would improve checkpoint security while cutting operational costs, Smiths Detection said."The [memorandum] demonstrates the strong working relationship that our two companies have developed," Smiths Detection Vice President of Products Rod Wilson said.
