I guess it is a sign of the popularity of Sounders FC that scammers trying to make an illegal buck have risen up and are selling fake kits and stolen photos,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], among other things.
A quick trip over to eBay reveals plenty of knock-offs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and even some stolen photos from photographers you've seen published right here on Examiner. Beware these poor quality,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], off-color products. The Sounders jerseys below have a silly pale green. However,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the counterfeiters took the time to (poorly) reproduce the adidas and MLS branding that supposedly makes the shirts 'authentic.'
The only person getting any money at all for their 'work' in the Freddie Ljungberg photo posted from eBay will be the seller. No photographer is credited,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and who knows if that is even Ljungberg's real signature? The photo looks suspiciously familiar to my GOALSeattle eyes. It's a rip off of work from one of our contributing photographers.
Needless to say,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], skip these fakes. You aren't saving much money,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the quality is low,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and the only people getting a cut of the pie are the crooks who are making them available to you.
